Iskander (ISK)Malaysia Studios

Conveniently situated in Johor, less than an hour from Singapore Changi Airport, these studios offer world class facilities in a breathtaking location surrounded by amazing wildlife.
The 80 acre lot offers 100,000 sq feet of film stages, 24,000 sq feet of television studios, 6 acres of period standing sets, hair & makeup, wardrobe and dressing rooms, production offices, workshops, three water filming tanks including the largest purpose built water tank in the APAC region.
Located no more than a single international flight from all major production hubs around the globe and positioned in a high connectivity region, the studios offer traditional and extremely cost effective production resources as well as being capable of fully remote operation.
Revolution Production Services have a unique production services partnership with IMS and are able to offer clients exclusive project rates on facilities for unscripted productions.
ISK Location
The studios are located in Johor, Malaysia with the nearest airport being Johor Bahru Senai International Airport, a 33km drive away with average trip time of 30 minutes. Frequent daily 50-minute flights fly from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Subang Airport.
Singapore's Changi airport is approximately a one hour drive, depending on border traffic.
Helicopter transfer and water transfer options can be arranged for talent looking to base in Singapore.
IMS sits in the Medini Iskandar region with close proximity to attractions (such as Legoland) with international standard hotels, world class golf courses, F&B and recreational facilities.

Locations & Jungle Backlot
We recognise the critical role that locations play in the visual storytelling of film and television production. Leveraging our access to skilled location scouts, we secure filming locations that precisely align with the creative vision of each project. These scouts bring extensive expertise, having explored the globe to discover unique, untouched, and world-class filming spots. We work closely with them to evaluate suitability from a creative, practicality and production perspective, manage negotiations with landowners, obtain necessary approvals and permits, and complete required documentation.
The jungle footprint surrounding IKS is extensive, and the backlot is conveniently located next to power sources and full studio facilities, making it easily accessible for production needs. The area can be excavated and cleared to accommodate any production requirements and can be customised as needed. Jungle restoration is quick and straightforward, as there are no major timber growths to contend with.
